Sevilla manager Vincenzo Montella has spoke openly about the tactics his team will employ when attempting to deal with Manchester United forward Alexis Sanchez, tomorrow night.

The La Liga outfit entertain Jose Mourinho's team at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium in the Champions League second round, hoping to come away from the game with an advantage to take to Old Trafford in three weeks time.

But to do that, Sevilla will have to stop Alexis Sanchez.

And Montella has devised quite an extreme solution to stop the Chilean, albeit one he shared jokingly during his pre-match press conference.

"Maybe we could kill him or knock him down or something!

"I remember Sanchez really well from his time in Italy. He has improved a lot his style in his career and he's a really good player in terms of the transitions and finding spaces, and he has a really good speed in attack."

Sanchez may have only scored once in his opening five appearances for United since arriving from Arsenal during the January transfer window, last month, but the Chilean has still impressed, with a Man Of The Match display in his debut against Yeovil, a goal scoring home debut against Huddersfield Town and an assist against the same opposition during the Red Devils' 2-0 FA Cup fifth round triumph at the weekend.

And the 29-year-old will be keen to prove himself in the Champions League, as well, having spent the first half of the season playing Europa League football, with Arsenal.

The Chilean forward found the net 10 times in 24 Champions League appearances for the Gunners, during his three-and-a-half seasons with the North London club. Jose Mourinho will be hoping his newest arrival can open his account with United, tomorrow night.
