Valentino Rossi and his girlfriend, Francesca Sofia Novello, decided to celebrate the 'Carnival' festival in style after dressing up as Mauro Icardi and Wanda Nara.
The festival takes place before Easter in different locations around the world, so the MotoGP star and Novello decided to put their best effort into creating outfits based on the Inter Milan striker and his wife and agent.
The Inter Milan fan dressed up in the Italian club's full kit, while Novello wore a black dress with a pink suit jacket and completed the look with a blonde wig.
The 26-year-old footballer has had a difficult time at I Nerazzurri in recent months, which included losing the club captaincy and contract talks with the club stalling.
The Argentina international has a contract that keeps him at the San Siro until 2021, but his current deal includes a €110m release clause that becomes active from 1st July to 15th July.
However, Icardi has been linked with several European clubs this season, including Real Madrid and Barcelona.
Juventus are reportedly interested in signing the former Inter Milan captain, while Napoli recently submitted an offer that would make him the second highest-paid player in Serie A.
The Derby della Madonnina between Inter Milan and AC Milan will take place later this month, with only one point currently separating the two sides in the table.
Ahead of the two rivals' match, Milan mayor Giuseppe Sala said that he wants Icardi to be playing for his side.
"I want him on the field," he told ANSA (via Football Italia).
"I'm not very optimistic, though. I'm a bit down about the whole thing.
"Last night I saw Atalanta play and said 'check this out.'
"Instead of imagining a transfer campaign with this or that player, let's buy all of Atalanta's squad to fix our problems.
"Either way, I'd like to see Icardi on the field."
