Two Premier League Clubs Interested In £20 Million Move For Kelechi Iheanacho

The Manchester City striker has fallen down the pecking order.

Back in September, Kelechi Iheanacho became the youngest ever City goalscorer in the Manchester derby when he scored what proved to be the winner against United at Old Trafford, perfectly deputising in the absence of Sergio Aguero.

Iheanacho, aged 19 years and 243 days at the time, reacted quickest to Kevin De Bruyne's effort, which came back off the post, to tap in and hand his side a 2-0 lead.

He then followed it up with two goals in his next two games against Borussia Monchengladbach and Bournemouth respectively, and for a brief while it looked as though he was continuing where he left off in his outstanding debut season last term.

However fast forward to the end of the season and the Nigerian has been frozen out at Manchester City, following the arrival of Gabriel Jesus, who Pep Guardiola rates incredibly highly.

As a result, Kelechi has been restricted to substitute appearances and even left out the squad completely by Pep Guardiola in recent times.

He has been heavily linked with a move away from the Etihad Stadium, with Bundesliga sides Hoffenheim and Borussia Dortmund both mentioned as potential suitors.

But recent reports have indicated that there is interest from the Premier League.

The Sun say that Everton are ready to move for Iheanacho should they lose talisman Romelu Lukaku in the summer, while Sky Sports' Kaveh Solhekol reports that West Ham are also monitoring the striker's situation.

£20 million is the price being talked about.

Iheanacho has scored 21 goals in his two seasons in the first-team fold at Manchester City after making the step up from the club's EDS side.
