Two Boca Juniors fans have been accused of murdering a River Plate fan after the 2018 Copa Libertadores final.
Rival supporters attacked Exequiel Aarón Neris, 21, in the Misiones province in Argentina.
Clarín (via Marca) reports that the River Plate fan was assaulted and stabbed in his left leg. It would prove to be a fatal wound, with the blade cutting his femoral artery.

However, the 21-year-old was able to speak with his mother, Lucía Ramona Neris, before he died.
"I'm dying, I'm dying, they attacked me for celebrating the result, because I'm a River fan," he told her.

"They attacked him, even though he was hardly walking.
"They hurt him like a defenceless dog."
