Championship Side Wolves To Make Audacious Move For AC Milan Striker Andre Silva

With the help of super-agent Jorge Mendes and the supremely talented Nuno Espírito Santo, Wolverhampton Wanderers are flying high in the Championship this season.

The club are currently sitting pretty at the top of the division after an impressive season, as the likes of Ruben Neves, who just under two years ago became the youngest ever player to captain a team in the Champions League when he wore the armband for Porto, have made an instant impact.

Mendes and Santo have undoubtably made a difference for the West Midlands side in recent months, and as they prepare for life in the Premier League, a huge name is being linked with an extraordinary move that will shock world football.

Wolves are preparing an audacious bid for AC Milan striker Andre Silva, who has struggled to hit form in recent weeks.

Milan decided to splash £34 million on the talented forward last summer, but he only managed to score his first goal for the club last week - and it looks like he might be on his way out of the San Siro in the next transfer window. But to where?

The Mirror report that the Championship club's relationship with Jorge Mendes, as well as the promise of Premier League football, could appeal to the 22-year-old - who has also been linked with a move to Arsenal.

It also states that Silva worked with Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santo at his former club Porto, which could be another driving force behind the potential deal.

Wolves would be a force to be reckoned with if they managed to snap up Andre Silva ahead of of a potential return to the Premier League.
