Barcelona's board probably can't wait for this summer to be over; Neymar's gone, they've all but given up on signing Philippe Coutinho, Ousmane Dembele is proving no easier to sign, they've had to pay 40 million actual pounds for Paulinho and now, another potential arrival is looking increasingly unlikely.
The Catalan club had been hopeful of completing a deal for OGC Nice's Jean Michael Seri, with personal terms already believed to have been agreed with the Ivorian midfielder.
However, the Ligue Un club have now claimed to feel disrespected at Barcelona's approach to the transfer, with Barca reportedly discussing terms with Seri without Nice's consent, a similar tactic that PSG employed which outraged Camp Nou officials so much during the Neymar transfer saga.

Seri, an Ivory Coast international, has won 14 caps for his country and has scored 10 goals in 72 Ligue Un games for Nice since arriving at the Allianz Riviera in 2015, from F.C. Paços de Ferreira.
In even worse news for Barcelona, Seri's €40 million release clause expired in July, meaning that should the La Liga giants manage to overcome the current difficulties they face negotiating with a disgruntled Nice, they'll have to up their offer significantly for the Ivorian's signature.
