There's A Theory That Neymar Will Be Announced As A PSG Player Tonight

Gerard Pique has claimed that Neymar will stay at Barcelona this season, but reports have continued throughout the summer that the Brazilian winger will join Ligue 1 side Paris Saint Germain in the coming days.

Last week, according to Marcelo Bechler of Esporte Interativo, Neymar accepted PSG's mind-blowing proposal, with the French side expected to pay Barcelona a whopping €222 million for the 25-year-old.

Since then, there has been contrasting reports on his future, but after Barcelona and Paris Saint Germain both announced they will hold a press conference later on tonight, many have began to speculate that a move could happen tonight.

PSG's official website indicates a surprise press conference in Miami today at 23:00 French time.

@GFFN report that the link on the website relating to the press conference is broken and there has been no press briefing about such an event.

On the other hand, Barcelona have also announced their own press conference, with an appearance from Gérard Piqué, at 23:30 French time.

Is this just a mere coincidence or is Neymar on his way to the Parc des Princes?

Twitter went into meltdown when the news emerged, with some suggesting that Barcelona could announce Verratti while Neymar joins his new club.
