After Sadio Mane's departure from St Mary's last month, Southampton fans will be encouraged to read that the club have signed Denmark midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg from Bayern Munich.
Hojbjerg, who was on loan at Schalke last season, will join the club on a five-year deal.
The highly-rated 20-year-old will cost the Saints a reported 12.8 million and will become Southampton's second signing of the summer, after capturing Nathan Redmond from Norwich for 11 million.
Southampton announced the deal on their official Twitter account earlier today, with Hojbjerg giving the following quote about the Saints.
