Anthony Martial has tweeted to clear up rumours he could be on his way out of Manchester United this summer.

The French attacker has been at the centre of some reports over recent days about his future and how it could lie away from Old Trafford.

According to the Express, Jose Mourinho has been told the former Monaco man wants out and the Portuguese coach isn't going to stand in his way.

PSG have been mentioned as a possible landing spot for him, while Arsenal have also been linked with a move.

But Martial looks like he's going nowhere this off-season - and it took a tweet from the man himself to confirm that

That's translated to simply 'the rumours are false' in English and the red circle should show United fans that he plans on remaining a red.

Martial had an outstanding first season at United under Louis van Gaal, scoring 17 goals and making nine assists in all competitions.

But his second campaign, and first under Jose Mourinho, wasn't as successful - spending large parts on the bench and only managing to chip in with eight goals and eight assists.

You can understand why there's speculation surrounding his future, but he did show enough in the latter stages of the season to suggest Mourinho will keep him around for a little while longer.
