Paul Pogba Set To Receive Staggering Bonus If He Rejects Barcelona

It appears Paul Pogba is line for a hefty bonus if he rejects Barcelona.

The La Liga champions have kept a close eye on Pogba in view to a summer bid. He's been heavily linked with a summer switch to the Camp Nou.

However, if the French midfielder rejects a move to Barcelona, he's set to pocket a cool bonus.

Pogba is reportedly set to earn £3.4 million should he turn down Barcelona this month according to reports from Metro.

A clause in his lucrative contract will be triggered if he continues to ply his trade at Old Trafford, where he has been since 2016 following his then-World Record £89 million transfer.

He remains subject to intense transfer speculation. While the Premier League window is closed, the Spanish transfer market is still active until August 31st.

Barcelona have successfully drafted in new talent ahead of this weekends opening league game in the shape of Malcom, Arthur and Arturo Vidal, among others.

Meanwhile, Jose Mourinho named Pogba captain for their opening Premier League game against Leicester City.

The World Cup winning star converted a penalty in the first few minutes to hand United an early lead. His side eventually secured all three points ahead of facing Brighton on Sunday.
