In news that will undoubtedly be translated as transfer gossip but is 99% more likely to merely be professional pleasantries, Neymar has named the Premier League teams he most admires.
Barcelona's Brazilian forward has long been linked with a move to Manchester United, but the reports have often come across as nothing more than bravado on United chief executive Ed Woodward's part and new contract posturing from Neymar's camp.
However, the former Santos wonderkid has set alarm bells ringing with his latest comments to SunSport in which he declares his admiration for the Premier League and states that one day he may end up in England's top flight.

Speaking to The Sun, Neymar revealed, "The Premier League is a championship that amazes me.
"I like the playing style and the teams. And who knows, someday, I would like to play at it, yes.
"I admire Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool - these are the teams that are always there fighting.

"And then you have high-level coaches like [Jose] Mourinho and [Pep] Guardiola. These are coaches with whom any player would like to work.
"In the Premier League you never know who is going to win or who will be champions, it is always a surprise."
However a move any time soon remains incredibly doubtful, given that the 25-year-old put pen to paper on a new five year contract in October of last year, theoretically keeping him at the Camp Nou until 2021 although, of course, situations can always change in football.

But while Neymar is enjoying challenging for three trophies a season and scoring goals for fun with Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi in front of almost 100,000 people on a regular basis, we can't imagine he'll be trading Barcelona for anywhere else.
