You would think, given the way his team have leaked goals this season, that Jurgen Klopp would be prioritising bringing a new centre-half to Liverpool, but it would appear the Reds' manager is targeting another attacker.
Goals haven't exactly been a problem for Klopp's team, this season, with Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino, Philippe Coutinho and Sadio Mane all regularly chipping in but if new reports are to be believed, the Liverpool boss could soon be adding more firepower to his squad.
Soccerisma are reporting that the Reds will part with £35 million to activate the release clause of their ex-player Suso, who is currently at AC Milan.

The Spanish forward was allowed to leave Liverpool for the San Siro in January 2015 after struggling for game time under then manager Brendan Rodgers.

After an impressive loan spell with Genoa, where he moved only a few months after signing for the Rossoneri, Suso returned to Milan and has become an important part of Vincenzo Montella's first team, scoring 13 goals in 55 appearances over the last two seasons.

It is this form that has reportedly alerted Liverpool to Suso once more, although the Anfield club will have to pay far more than the £1 million they received as compensation when the 23-year-old left for Milan almost three years ago.
The Reds' interest in their former player could also have something to do with the stories claiming that Barcelona will make yet another offer for Philippe Coutinho, in the new year.

The Catalan club tried and failed with multiple bids for the Brazilian magician over the summer but are now willing to return with an offer in excess of £120 million for the former Internazionale man, who desperately wants to make the swtich to the Camp Nou.
So, is Suso a potential replacement for Coutinho or is Jurgen Klopp hoping to pair the two together at Anfield?
