Jordan Larsson hopes his time at NEC Nijmegen can be a stepping stone to playing for Barcelona one day.

The Swedish striker followed in the footsteps of his dad Henrik by moving from Swedish side Helsingborgs to the Eredivisie.

Henrik went to Feyenoord back in 1993 before signing for Celtic and really kick-starting a spectacular career that saw him become a Hoops legend, Champions League winner with Barca and a Premier League champion at Manchester United.

Jordan's switch to NEC may have come as a surprise to some after his rise to the Swedish top-flight at a young age.

But he believes it can be the stepping stone to playing in one of Europe's top leagues, and admits Barcelona would be the dream:

If he was to have a similar career to his father then the next logical move for Jordan is to Celtic, where he'll spend the majority of his career before ending it with Barcelona, United and then back in his homeland.

And that should excite fans of the Parkhead club, who consider Henrik a legend and will no doubt hope that Jordan can be just as good as his dad.
