Barcelona want Thiago and Bayern Munich are reportedly willing to let him go for just £44 million on one condition.
The La Liga champions are looking to reinforce their squad ahead of next season.
A host of high-profile names have been linked with a transfer to the iconic Camp Nou. Including Atletico Madrid ace Antoine Griezmann. A switch remains heavily muted.

As well as Griezmann, Barcelona have also expressed an interest in re-signing former academy product Thiago.
And it appears Bayern Munich are prepared to sell him.
It's claimed the German champions would listen to offers in the region of £61 million.

Per reports from SPORT, a move back to Spain is gaining more and more traction.
While Thiago's price tag may be too steep, Bayern Munich would consider a fee of £44 million if Lucas Digne went the other way.
The French full-back has been at Barcelona for two seasons, though only played 12 league games last season.
Bayern Munich are exploring the market for a full-back with Juan Bernat set to move on. Digne will also provide cover for first-choice David Alaba.
Barcelona have increased their interest in Thiago following the emotional departure of Andres Iniesta who left for Japanese outfit Vissel Kobe.
