A flurry of clubs from the Chinese Super League have spent big this summer, but it will be the last time sides can splash the cash as the transfer window closes TODAY.

Graziano Pelle became the 5th highest paid player in the world earlier this week after he moved from Southampton to Shandong Luneng. To put that into perspective - Pelle will earn £13.6 million per year, £275k per month and £1.6k per hour.

But Pelle isn't the only player to have moved East, with the likes of Jackson Martinez, Alex Teixeira and Ramires appearing in the Chinese Super League in recent months.

The question is could there be another big money signing in the coming hours?

Rumours are rife that unwanted Liverpool forward Mario Balotelli will move to China today, as reports have believe he has received a number of offers from various clubs.

Another player who has been linked with a move to China this week in Robson-Kanu, who was reporedly offered £100,000 per week to play his football in China, despite being released from Reading in May this year.

Gonzalo Higuain was another big name linked with a move to China, with reports suggesting he turned down an eye-watering sum of £800,000 per week to play in the Chinese Super League.

This makes you wonder, will one of these big-money clubs make a massive bid in the coming hours?

Well, looking back to February's deadline day for Chinese clubs, a number of big names were linked with a move, with Lavezzi, Gyan and Teixeira all making late deals.

In fact, the Chinese Super League clubs wrapped up a record spending spree on Friday, February 16th (transfer deadline day) after football transfers worth a world-beating 331 million euros left people talking about one thing.

The Chinese Super League.

Who will move in the coming hours? Mario Balotelli? Wilfried Bony? Robson Kanu?!
