Antoine Griezmann's expected move to Barcelona is now in doubt after Atletico Madrid's president claims there has been no contact over a transfer for the Frenchman.
The 28-year-old seemed destined to join the La Liga champions after announcing he'd be leaving the Wanda Metropolitano after five years at the end of the season.
Griezmann was expected to join the Nou Camp outfit last season but a move failed to materialise.
It was expected that a move would be made for the World Cup winner this summer following their Champions League semi-final defeat to Liverpool.
Griezmann was reported to be joining the Catalan giants for a fee in excess of €100 million.
However, Barca seem to have cooled their interest this summer with Atletico president Enrique Cerezo admitting he is unsure where his star player will end up next season.

Speaking to Spanish broadcaster Onda Cero per Goal, Cerezo explained,
"Griezmann has been with for five years and done a splendid job,
"We have a good relationship. Nice, trustworthy.
"I hope wherever he goes he will be treated the same as he has been with us.
"I don't know where he's going, he didn't say. I don't have the slightest idea where he will go. I don't think anyone knows."
Asked whether Barca have initiated discussions for the forward, Cerezo replied: "No one from Barca has contacted me."

He also finished third in the voting for the Ballon D'or last year.
Griezmann is currently away on international duty with France ahead of their Euro 2020 qualifiers against Turkey and Andorra over the next few days.
The French team received the Legion of Honour earlier this week for their World Cup victory last summer, with Griezmann being key player throughout the summer.
