With the news breaking last week that Ross Barkley has been given a week to decide whether he wants to remain an Everton player or not, the Toffees have now followed up Ronald Koeman's ultimatum by naming their price for the young midfielder.

Barkley, who is out of contract next summer, has not yet committed his future to Everton and manager Koeman has seemingly run out of patience with the England international, telling him he'll be sold at the end of the season should he fail to make a decision on his future.

It now appears that the Goodison Park club are preparing for life without Barkley, and are commanding a £50 million fee from any potential buyers.

Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Manchester City have both been credited with an interest in the 23-year-old, despite his downturn in form over the past couple of seasons.

Barkley's stock has dropped significantly since his breakthrough season at Goodison Park in the 2013/14 campaign. Despite this, it is still expected that Everton will be able to secure a large fee for the academy product, given the premium that is placed on young English talent.

Barkley has scored six goals in 38 games for the Toffees this season and has 27 in 178 appearances in total since his debut in 2011.
