After an underwhelming two year spell at Liverpool, the controversial Mario Balotelli was snapped up on a free transfer by Ligue 1 side Nice.
It was perhaps one of the best decisions of his career to date. Since his move Balotelli has made a real impact at the Allianz Riviera, scoring 33 goals in 49 appearances for the French side.
Despite Balotelli's success during his time at Nice, the striker is out of contract at the end of the season and in a recent interview the 27-year-old admitted that he wants a move to a 'big club' in the future.

"I called my agent and asked, 'What am I doing in January?' He said he didn't know. I want to remain, so we'll see." Balotelli told Gazzetta dello Sport.
"Admittedly, I would like to get back to having a strong squad behind me. I want to play in the Champions League and win something. The aim is to go back to a big club. To win something important again"
"I am certainly not thinking about the end of my career yet. I am 27 years old, so I can play another six or seven years at the top level."
Just days after that interview emerged, Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri is reportedly interested in signing Balotelli on a free transfer this summer, report Football Italia.

Napoli certainly tick Balotelli's boxes after impressing in both the league and Champions League of late.
In fact, they currently sit at the top of Serie A, just one point ahead of champions Juventus.
Back in May, Spanish radio station COPE, as noted by Mundo Deportivo, reported that La Liga side Las Palmas were keen on signing the the 26-year old and made moves to secure his services.

But as we know, Balotelli remained at Nice and continued to score goals on a weekly basis.
