The details of Kevin De Bruyne's new Manchester City contract have been revealed.

This season, he's been in truly terrifying form. From heroics in the Premier League to brilliance in the Champions League.

The Belgium international has weighed in with goals and assists for City, with Pep Guardiola's side sitting pretty at the summit of the league and tipped to goal all the way in Europe by some, while keeping up their hopes of an incredible quadruple.

And with the January transfer market approaching, City continue to look for new players. However, it appears they're also very keen on holding onto their current stars including the 26-year-old midfielder.

At the moment, his contract expires at the end of the 2020/21 season. Though City are expected to tie him down to the club for the foreseeable future.

And in doing so will nearly double his wage.

He'll go from £115,000-a-week to euro equivalent of £200,000-a-week. But he's set to be paid his wage entirely in Euros as a result of Brexit, per Goal.

As requested by Patrick De Koster - De Bruyne's agent, following the fall in the valuation of the pound sterling since the EU referendum.

Not to mention a staggering €10 million signing-on fee which will be paid over the six-year deal.

His contract will be signed off once the club and his agent agree on the valuation of his image rights.

De Bruyne also has bonuses within his deal.

If he breaks the Messi-Ronaldo Ballon d'Or stranglehold, he'll be handed a £200,000 bonus, plus an extra yearly pay rise of £400,000.

If he's named the 'Premier League Player of the Year', he'll pocket a cool £75,000, as well as cash incentives depending on what trophy he wins.

Here's a breakdown:

Champions League - £1.2 million

Premier League - £800,000

FA Cup - £350,000

League Cup - £150,000
