From shattering the world transfer record to sign Neymar, to poaching teenage sensation Kylian Mbappe for a outrageous fee.

PSG continue to be linked with new players but one superstar they won't be getting their hands on is Hazard.

The Belgium international revealed that they contacted him but he wasn't tempted, while saying he would only return to Ligue 1 with Lille.

"I had contacts with PSG, but it did not tempt me. I have always said that if I came back to Ligue 1 it would be to Lille," he said.

Hazard started his professional footballing journey at Lille. He eventually completed a move away by sealing a switch to Chelsea in 2012.

It appeared Hazard was going to call time on his career at the Bridge during the summer transfer window.

He was heavily linked with a move away following a brilliant World Cup campaign.

Real Madrid expressed an interest and it seemed like they where going to get their man, though a transfer never materialised.

The 27-year-old also weighed in on the level of France's top flight.

"In terms of the level of Ligue 1, PSG walk it each weekend," he added.

"When they play in the Champions' League, they think maybe that it will be easy. But I think that they struggle. I don't like to judge Ligue 1 but it is true that, when I see PSG, yes it seems too easy."

PSG resume their Champions League venture against Liverpool and Hazard has hailed the English outfit, highlighting the clubs feared attacking trident.

"Liverpool are a great team, with three top attackers in Salah, Firmino and Mané. But PSG can beat anyone. On a good day, PSG can beat everybody."
