Remember an article ago when I told you that Chelsea were willing to spend £60 million on Juventus full-back Alex Sandro? Well you can just ignore that, it turns out.
The Brazilian had been one of Antonio Conte's top summer targets but, despite several reports claiming that the Premier League champions were close to securing a deal for the former Porto man, it appears that he has instead decided to put pen to paper on a new deal with Juve.
Sandro is expected to sign his new and improved contract sometime in the next week, with his wages set to increase to £93,000-per-week.

Chelsea had an initial offer of £55 million rebuffed by Juve and were preparing a follow up offer of £61 million but will likely now not bother, with Sandro's head being turned back towards the Bianconeri and their new contract offer.
