Ahead of his expected departure from the Emirates Stadium, this Summer, Arsenal have named their asking price for Mesut Ozil.
The German is out of contract in just over 12 months and, following a disappointing second half of the season in which many Gunners fans have run out of patience with the former Real Madrid man, it appears Arsene Wenger is now happy to let him leave rather than attempt to convince Ozil to sign a new contract.
But the Gunners don't stand to make much profit on the World Cup Winner.

In fact, having made Ozil their record signing when they parted with £42m for his services in 2013, the North London club are now asking for just £200,000 more than their initial outlay in the hope someone will take the 28-year-old off their hands.
Fenerbahce are believed to have held discussions with the former Werder Bremen man, according to a report in Fotospor but are unlikely to be able to match Arsenal's asking price.

Manchester United have also been linked with Ozil over the past year, with Jose Mourinho apparently keen on a reunion with his former Real Madrid play maker, with the pair lifting the La Liga title at the Bernabeu in 2012.
Given that Ozil has shown a tendency to go missing during the business end of a campaign, there may not be that much interest in his signature for the price Arsenal have set, which may force the Gunners to lower their demands should no offers be forthcoming.
Arsene Wenger will be hoping for the sake of any potential transfer kitty he has at his disposal this Summer, that the Gunners recoup what they paid for the German midfielder in order for the French manager to reinvest it into his beleaguered squad.
