Juventus could boast another Real Madrid star in the near future.

The Italian champions made a stunning acquisition in signing Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid for a reported £100 million in the summer market.

And the Portuguese international could be joined by an ex-Real Madrid teammate for next season or maybe as soon as January.

Spanish outlet El Confidencial via Calciomercato are claiming Marcelo wants to reunite with Ronaldo and may follow him to Juventus.

Ronaldo and Marcelo were very close friends in Madrid, not to mention the Brazilian full-back failing to hit it off with new Real Madrid manager Julen Lopetegui.

The 30-year-old has been at the iconic Santiago Bernabeu since 2006 following his transfer from Fluminense. Two years later, Ronaldo swapped Manchester United for Real Madrid.

Currently, Juventus have Alex Sandro filling in at left-back. The Brazilian attracted plenty of interest in the summer with United and Paris Saint-Germain heavily linked with his services.

Marcelo, anyway, has less than four years left to run on his Real Madrid contract, so he'll likely command a huge fee.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo has yet to hit mark for Juventus in competitive action. He's fired blank in three Serie A games. And Marcelo is struggling for form with Lexis Bill making a superb point.
