Tottenham are finally set to open the gates to their brand spanking new stadium.

Spurs have confirmed that they'll play the first game in their new ground in a Premier League fixture against Crystal Palace on Wednesday, 3 April.

The North London club released the following statement regarding their new home:

"Following Brighton's victory against Millwall in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup this afternoon, we can confirm that the first Premier League match in our new stadium will be against Crystal Palace on Wednesday 3 April (kick-off time TBC).

"This will be followed on Tuesday 9 April by the first leg of our UEFA Champions League quarter-final against Manchester City, kick-off 8pm.

"We shall now play Brighton in the Premier League at the new stadium on either Tuesday 23 or Wednesday 24 April.

"We shall announce further ticketing and event details tomorrow."

So, Spurs' new stadium will host two games within six days, both under the lights.

Chairman Daniel Levy has revealed to the Tottenham Hotspur Supporters Trust the club were never in talks with Nike over the sale of stadium naming rights.

He's dismissed reports Spurs' new stadium will be called the 'Nike Stadium'.

Spurs have been calling Wembley Stadium home since the start of last season but they'll finally move into their new 62,000 capacity stadium next month.
