Real Madrid appear desperate to sign a new goalkeeper in the summer, and according to a recent report, Thibaut Courtois is the most likely candidate at this stage.
Both long-time target David De Gea and Hugo Lloris are said to be on Real's shortlist, but it is Courtois, who recently reached an impressive milestone when he he reached 150 clean sheets in his career following the 3-0 win over Middlesbrough on Monday night, who is said to be the most likely to begin next season in goal for the Bernabeu.

Journalist Alvise Cagnazzo states in his article in The Sun, that the Belgian goalkeeper would cost around £60 million and an incredible goalkeeper transfer merry-go-round would take place if he does make the move to Los Blancos.
As per the report, Chelsea see Atletico shotstopper Jan Oblak, also linked with Manchester United, as the ideal replacement for Courtois and will look to sign him should their number one goalkeeper be on the move.

The potential departure of the Slovenian would leave Atletico without a number one goalkeeper, and the talk is that Diego Simeone would go after Napoli goalkeeper Pepe Reina, who he believes could be the man between the sticks, behind an Atleti defence that is often so solid and resolute.

The final phase of the 'domino effect' would apparently see Napoli try and snap up Wojciech Tomasz Szczęsny, who has been on loan at Roma from Arsenal for the past two seasons.
