Manchester United are set to welcome Mohammad Al-Sahlawi.

It's not a transfer, just the club extending an offer for the Saudi Arabian striker to train with them.

Al-Sahlawi plies his trade with Al-Nassr who only have two games left of the domestic season.

April 12th marks his last game for Al-Nassr before the World Cup.

As the Saudi Arabia Pro League approaches a conclusion, Al-Sahlawi is set to train with the Premier League outfit to maintain his fitness ahead of the summer footballing extravaganza.

He'll reportedly train at United's Carrington complex for three weeks before returning home.

The 31-year-old has bagged an impressive 26 international goals for his country, and is almost certain to lead the line in Russia.

Saudi Arabia will kick-off the 2018 World Cup on June 14th when they take on tournament hosts Russia. They'll also play Uruguay and Egypt.

Turki Al-Sheik, the General Sports Authority of Saudi Arabia, has confirmed the link up.

"It was agreed with Manchester United for Mohammed Al-Sahlawi to join for a training program for three weeks. May God benefit him.

"This relationship is part of an exciting program we are undertaking to transform sport in Saudi Arabia," he said.

Further reports suggest Jose Mourinho has no interest in signing the player.
