Real Madrid left-back Marcelo is widely considered to be the best left-back in world football but even he will need to be at his best to deal with Mohamed Salah in the Champions League after his stunning season.

'The Egyptian King' has netted a staggering 44 goals in all competitions, including a record-breaking 32 goals in 38 Premier League games.

He's got 10 goals and four assists in the Champions League this season and Liverpool will need him at his best if they are to stop Real from winning the Europe's premier club competition three years on the trot.

Salah vs Marcelo promises to be a very exciting duel in Kiev. Former Egypt player Mohamed Aboutrika is unsurprisingly giving the backing to his compatriot as he believes the Brazilian is "terrified" of the 25-year old.

He referenced past meetings between the two: Egypt's game against Brazil in the Olympic games in 2012 and the Champions League clash between Roma and Real a couple of years back, to explain his point.

"I witnessed on that pitch what Salah can do to Marcelo during the Olympic Games," he told beIN Sports MENA, via Liverpool Echo.

"I was playing with Egypt against Brazil. Marcelo is terrified of Salah. I noticed the same thing in the Champions League when Roma played against Real."

One man who is definitely not fearful of Salah is Sergio Ramos. The Los Blancos skipper is renowned for being a particularly tough opponent for attackers as he not afraid to use shithouse tactics when needed.

A couple of weeks ago, Ramos admitted he respects the work Salah has done this season but he and the rest of Real players do not fear him.

"We have seen what Salah can do this season, but he will just be one of 11 players we face against Liverpool," he told Mirror.

"Throughout my career, I have faced the best forward players in the world - many of them who are considered among the greatest ever. For me, there is never a fear. A respect, yes, but never a fear."
