Should Liverpool successfully navigate the second leg of their Champions League qualifier with Bundesliga outfit Hoffenheim, tonight, the Premier League will be represented by five teams in this season's premiere continental competition for the first time, ever. And there are both dream and nightmare scenarios that could await Chelsea, Tottenham, Manchester City, Manchester United and Jurgen Klopp's men in the group stage.

By virtue of Manchester United's Europa League victory, last season, the Premier League team has been awarded an extra spot in this season's Champions League, with United joining rivals City in pot two of tomorrow's draw at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco.

Chelsea will be in pot one, alongside holders Real Madrid and the champions of the other six top ranked nations in Europe; Bayern Munich, Juventus, Benfica, Shakhtar Donetsk, Monaco and Spartak Moscow.

Accompanying the two Manchester clubs in pot two are Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Sevilla and FC Porto, with Tottenham and potentially Liverpool being entered into pot three.
