Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi?
Well, it appears the 2017 Ballon d'Or winner has been revealed following reports from Spanish outlets.

On Thursday night, France Football will hand over the coveted individual honour atop of the iconic Eiffel Tower in Paris.
Needless to say, Ronaldo and Messi will be going head-to-head for the prestigious award.

While the Barcelona star outscored his Portuguese counterpart, the Real Madrid talisman steered his side to the La Liga and Champions League titles, last season.
Real Madrid pipped the Catalans to the Spanish league, not to mention beating Juventus in the Champions League final to successfully win back-to-back European titles.
And it appears Ronaldo's winners medals will land him the 2017 Ballon d'Or, per reports from Mundo Deportivo.
Reports also suggest David Ginola will hand over the award to Ronaldo at the ceremony.

If Ronaldo does win the award, he'll record his fifth gong following his successful efforts in 2008, 2013, 2014 & 2016.

As well as going level with Messi who currently has five Ballon d'Or awards to his name (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2015).
