Lionel Messi will remember last night's Champions League tie against Paris Saint Germain for all the wrong reasons.

Not only was he handed a player rating of two by French publication L'Equipe, but his teams performance was equally poor, as Luis Enrique's side face the very real possibility of a Champions League exit.

Messi even received a taste of his own medicine after Paris Saint Germain's Man of the Match Adrien Rabiot cheekily nutmegged the Barcelona forward.

At the time, Barca were 3-0 down as PSG dominated the game - this piece of magic from Rabiot just summed up the Catalan giants' night.

It may be just your everyday nutmeg, but because Lionel Messi was on the receiving end of the skill, everyone is talking about it.

It didn't get better for Barca.

L'Equipe gave Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Andres Iniesta, Jordi Alba and Andre Gomes player ratings of two, while Neymar and Sergio Busquets were lucky enough to have been given a three.

On the other hand, Paris Saint Germain were deservedly handed high ratings, with Adrien Rabiot leading the pack with an impressive nine.

Let us know your thoughts on Barcelona's performance at the Parc des Princes last night.

We are still in shock.

Back in 1998, Nicky Butt's typically wayward strike hit me right in the head. I proceeded to fall off my chair. I cherish this moment.
