Paul Pogba proved his doubters wrong this afternoon after a wonderful second half display against Manchester City helped Manchester United to a famous win at the Etihad.

Not only did Jose Mourinho's side ruin City's predicted title celebrations at the Etihad, but a number of players stepped up to the mark and gave fans hope - and one of those was the often criticised Pogba.

The French midfielder bagged two goals in a matter of minutes to get it back to 2-2, and played a pivotal role throughout - despite a poor outing in the first 45 minutes.

Whatever Jose Mourinho said to him at half-time worked a treat.

As soon as the full-time whistle blew, Paul Pogba ran over to the Manchester United way support and made a very clear point - that he is fully committed to playing for the club.

He was heard saying "don't believe the papers" as he pointed towards his badge.

Perhaps Pep Guardiola's latest press conference about an offer from agent Mino Raiola to play for City spurred him on in the second half.

Pogba arrived at the Etihad this afternoon with blue hair. He might have got it bleached on international duty with France, but Sky pundit Gary Neville was less than impressed.

"I always think if you're wise you don't attract attention when things aren't going your way. Pogba doesn't work like that. Coming here with blue hair today, win, it's fine, lose, it'll be talked about forever by City and United fans. It's ridiculous."
