We may have only just entered October but we think Bastien Toma of FC Sion has already produced the pass of the season.
In the 1-1 draw with Xamax at the weekend, the 19-year old midfielder conjured up a filthy no-look assist that David Silva or Lionel Messi would have been proud of.
He received the ball from his full-back in the middle of the park and threaded through the most delightful ball for Ermir Lenjani to open the scoring.
The perfectly-executed pass took out no fewer than NINE opposition players and was the definition of 'defence-splitting'. If you want to truly appreciate the quality of the assist, you just have to watch the slow motion replay.

Toma was Sion's Man of the Match, scooping 83 per cent of the votes thanks to his sumptuous assist on the half hour mark.
According to Transfer Markt, it was his fourth assist of the season in nine Swiss Super League games but he'll do exceptionally well to record a better one this season.

Toma has only actually played 25 senior games after coming through the Sion youth academy and you'd suspect clubs across Europe might just take a look at him after seeing that pass.
We challenge any player to top Toma's heroics this term...
