BREAKING: AC Milan Complete Ninth Major Signing Of The Summer

After completing the signings of Conti, Musacchio, Rodriguez, Calhanoglu, Kessie, Borini, Bonucci and Andre Silva, AC Milan completed their ninth major signing of the summer transfer window on Sunday afternoon.

Lucas Biglia has joined the big spenders on a permanent deal, penning a three-year contract with the Serie A side. The 31-year-old reportedly had a medical with the club on Saturday.

It is thought that the deal is reportedly worth an initial €17million.

AC Milan have had a successful summer in the transfer window, as their new owners try to awaken the sleeping European giant.

Vincenzo Montella's side have already signed Andre Silva, Andrea Conti, Hakan Calhanoglu, Mateo Musacchio, Ricardo Rodriguez and Franck Kessie this summer as well as signing Gianluigi Donnarumma to a new contract.

Leonardo Bonucci has also been heralded as one of the signing so the summer, with Juventus reportedly letting him go for as little as €35million.

Biglia's signing comes just a day after Milan were linked with a move for Bayern Munich midfielder Renato Sanches.

Portuguese publication @Record_Portugal report that AC Milan have offered to take Renato Sanches on loan with a €47m option to buy.

The report claims that Milan want to take him on a two-year loan spell for €7 million, with the 'option to buy in 2019.

Despite high expectations, Sanches only managed to make 17 appearances in the league in 2016/17, but AC clearly feel that the youngster could make a huge impact in their new look side.
