It was a performance that would anger your stereotypical U12's coach who always told you to 'keep it simple', but Paul Pogba's individual performance against England last night sent the majority into meltdown.
Back heels, nutmegs and perfectly weighted passes were mixed with great interceptions and clever movement, both on and off the ball. You can shout 'nothing fancy' all you want Keith, but when you pull off that filthy piece of skill - it looks fucking brilliant.
It might sound cliche but it was a masterclass from the Manchester United midfielder. Pogba ran the show, something that many have doubted since his world record move from Juventus last summer.

Pogba wasn't the only player on the pitch to send social media into a frenzy.
In a performance described by many as game changing, Monaco striker Kylian Mbappe sent Kieran Trippier and Phil Jones back to the Premier League with his lightning quick movement and skill.
Even England fans watching the game couldn't help but admire Mbappe's refreshingly brave and confident performance. It was a joy to watch and the minority of doubters have finally come to their senses.

It didn't stop there.
Borussia Dortmund striker Ousmane Dembélé gave one of the performances of his life against Gareth Southgate's side, with one moment in particular going viral on social media.

Dembélé looked like he came into tonight's post-season friendly keen to prove a point, and it wasn't long before England's Kyle Walker knew all about him.
Walker might be regarded as one of the quickest full-backs in the Premier League, but he was no match for Dembele.
