Just six weeks after Kylian Mbappe signed for Paris Saint-Germain, this incredibly talented 18-year-old has naturally forged one of the deadliest partnerships in world football.

Step forward, Neymar Jr - a man who, time and time again, has proved his doubters wrong.

In a blistering start to his Les Parisiens career. the Brazilian has, in particular, bonded with a fearless and determined Mbappe, and during last night's Champions League Group stage tie against Anderlecht, the pair gave us a lesson in how the beautiful game should be played.

The entire cast of the world's best trio - Mbappe, Neymar and Cavani - found the scoresheet in an entertaining Group B clash, but one moment in particular has left us all in awe.

Starting from the centre circle, both Neymar and Mbappe combined with several inch perfect one-two combinations, running rings around a helpless Anderlecht.

Football at its very finest:

Unai Emery's side maintained their 100% record in this season's Champions League with a 4-0 win at Anderlecht side, as the potentially attacking qualities of a £420m front line looked unstoppable at the Constant Vanden Stock.

The result comes just 24 hours after Edinson Cavani continued to stoke his rivalry with Neymar by saying it's more important to have a professional relationship than being friends.

Since Neymar's mega-money transfer in the summer, the biggest takeaway from his Paris Saint-Germain career has been the penalty drama with the Uruguayan striker.

Speaking to SFR Sport via ESPN, Cavani has reflected on the squabble after being quizzed about penalty gate and more.

"The penalty business, it is in the past," he said. "These things happen in football. The important thing now is to find a solution together and to operate as a team. Ultimately, this is what enables you to achieve great things.

"We need to be a competitive team, we do not need to all be friends or like a family.

"The most important thing is that everybody is professional on the pitch and gives 100 percent. Outside of that, everybody has their own life, their own way of being and their own way of thinking."
