Memphis Depay Had An Absolute Stormer For Lyon Against Metz

He never got going in the Premier League after taking on the coveted No.7 shirt for Manchester United but Memphis Depay has been reborn in Ligue one with Lyon.

And he produced his best performance for the club in a 5-0 thrashing over Metz today. The Netherlands international was involved in all five goals, scoring one and registering four assists in a sublime individual performance.

With his incredible quartet of assists, Memphis becomes the first play to produce four set-ups in a top five league game since Santi Cazorla back in May 2013.

Performances like the masterclass he dropped today don't come too often but his displays this term have been exceptional.

After his heroics today, Memphis has 16 goals and 13 assists in all competitions and is well and truly putting his United nightmare behind him.

With his form so great, it's no surprise that AC Milan are being linked with a summer move for him.
