In the latest chapter of 'Kylian Mbappe is ridiculously too good at football for an 18-year-old', the young French striker broke a Champions League record with his goal against Bayern Munich, last night.
While the former Monaco striker's effort may not have been enough to prevent Paris Saint-Germain from succumbing to a 3-1 defeat at the Allianz Arena, he did claim a piece of Champions League history.
The teenage sensation's second-half strike was his 10th goal in Europe's premiere club competition, making him the youngest ever player to reach that number of goals.

At 18 years, 11 months and 15 days of age, Mbappe unseated fellow countryman Karim Benzema as the youngest player to achieve such a haul.
And, as if the record itself wasn't impressive enough, when you consider that Lionel Messi was 21 years, three months and seven days old when he reached 10 goals and Raul and Wayne Rooney were even older (21y 3m 24d and Rooney - 22y 0m 14d respectively) it becomes even more remarkable.

Mbappe hit his first six goals in the competition during Monaco's unlikely run to the semi-finals last year and has increased that tally with another four in six games for PSG after his £165 million move (subject to PSG making the initial season-long loan permanent) from Monaco, this past summer.

With the club from the French capital advancing as group winners to the round of 16, Mbappe will be given further opportunities to break more records in the Champions League and, given his form so far in the competition, we wouldn't bet against him doing so.
