Jadon Sancho has continued his incredible start to life at Borussia Dortmund by scoring his first Champions League goal against Atletico Madrid.

The 18-year-old bagged just four minutes after coming on as a substitute, becoming the second youngest English player in the Champions League era to score a goal in the competition, age 18 years and 212 days.

Sancho has been a revelation for the Bundesliga side in recent weeks, contributing eight assists and three goals in all competitions.

His latest goal was this tap in from close range to give his club a 3-0 lead against Diego Simeone's team. Take a bow, son.

Manchester City may live to regret offloading the talented winger, with his attitude matching his ability.

The England youth international has averaged a goal or assist every 73.5 minutes since making the switch but he's made it clear he isn't satisfied with being a 'bench player'.

"I just had a bit more energy, you know," Sancho told the official Bundesliga website.

"The rest were a bit tired and I came on to help the team. The coach keeps rotating so that's how strong this team is. Obviously, I don't want to be a sub - but if I keep on working hard hopefully I can get in the starting XI."

Sancho was included in Gareth Southgate's England squad for their UEFA Nations League games against Croatia and Spain and the manager was impressed with his bravery:

"Jadon's is an unusual story. He has been brave enough to go and play abroad and has started two Champions League games for Dortmund and has also had a big impact from the bench in their league games."

We can't wait to see Sancho flourish in the months to come.
