Ciro Immobile Scores An Insane 95th Minute Backheel Volley Equaliser

Lazio striker Ciro Immobile has scored 32 goals in all competitions this season but his latest strike is undoubtedly his best of the season so far.

With the Rome outfit trailing 2-1 in stoppage time to Cagliari today, they needed a bit of individual brilliance to salvage something from the game and it came from their talisman in the dying embers.

A cross from the left came in didn't look to be causing too much danger but Immobile improvised in sensational fashion, serving up a delicious backheel volley that looped over the helpless Alessio Cragno in goal.

It was an utterly glorious finish from the former Sevilla, Borussia Dortmund and Torino striker - and one that should put him well in contention for the 2018 Puskas award.

Here's how Twitter reacted to the worldie of a goal from Immobile:

Have we seen the goal of the season from Immobile?
