Lionel Messi finally broke his 730 minute, nine game duck against Chelsea on Tuesday evening and Barcelona's official Twitter account posted the perfect message, just seconds after he found the net.

To be honest it was only a matter of time before the five-time Ballon d'Or winner scored with his 30th shot against Antonio Conte's side, considering the fact he's netted nine against Arsenal, six against Manchester City and two against Manchester United in years gone by.

Chelsea became another English team to feel the wrath of Messi and Barcelona's Twitter reacted perfectly:

BT Sport pundits Frank Lampard, Rio Ferdinand and Steven Gerrard were full of praise for Messi following the 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge.

Lampard claims that Messi is not on the same wave length as any other player, while Ferdinand thinks the game slows down for him. Gerrard lauded over the 30-year-old and said he's a "one off."

"It was just great to be in the same stadium as him, never mind compete!" Gerrard said.

Barcelona were trailing to a Willian strike during their Champions League second round clash at Stamford Bridge, but the Argentine punished Chelsea in the secon half, effortlessly passing an Andres Iniesta cutback into the net.

Here's how social media reacted to his performance:
