Throughout the good times and the bad, Arsene Wenger has been loyal to Arsenal and Arsenal have been loyal to Arsene Wenger, but after seven FA Cup triumphs, 10 major trophies and over 800 Premier League games, the legendary manager has managed his final home game, this afternoon.

Last week, Sir Alex Ferguson handed over a gift to honour his friend on his final game at Old Trafford as an Arsenal manager. Even Jose Mourinho joined in for a photograph as the crowd once again applauded the man who spearheaded some of the best Arsenal teams in their history.

Ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash against Burnley, the great Arsene Wenger deservedly walked out to an incredible guard of honour as both teams and sets of fans applauded his career, as the likes of Sean Dyche stood and appreciated one of the all time greats.

It was a moment that must have been incredibly emotional for the departing Frenchman.

Wenger announced that he will end his 22 year spell at the club earlier this month.

"After careful consideration and following discussions with the club, I feel it is the right time for me to step down at the end of the season." he said in a statement on Arsenal's official website.

"I am grateful for having had the privilege to serve the club for so many memorable years. I managed the club with full commitment and integrity."

"I want to thank the staff, the players, the Directors and the fans who make this club so special." he continued.

"I urge our fans to stand behind the team to finish on a high.

"To all the Arsenal lovers take care of the values of the club. My love and support for ever."
