Steven Gerrard is slightly concerned with one aspect of Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool.

The 2017/18 Champions League finalists have enjoyed a blistering start to the new season.

Six wins from six Premier league games not to mention dramatically beating Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.

Next up for Liverpool; Chelsea away in the league.

It's their second meeting in a matter of days. Earlier in the week, Chelsea dumped Liverpool out of the Carabao Cup thanks to late heroics from Eden Hazard.

The Belgium superstar will be back in Chelsea's XI just like Liverpool's big guns including Roberto Firmino who Gerrard believes is the key.

"The key is Firmino," Gerrard said on BBC Radio 5 Live.

Gerrard added: "Every time I received the ball he was always available and looking for other players - he's a dream to play with."

The Rangers boss then examines the Liverpool team, struggling to find any weaknesses other than the lack of experience.

"I look at Liverpool now and can't find any weaknesses when they're at full strength.

"This is a lot stronger than the team I played in - it's Liverpool's best squad for a very long time.

"The only thing they haven't got going for them is the experience. As someone who went very close, we lacked that experience."
