Paul Pogba Has A Higher Walking Average Than Any Other Premier League Midfielder

Let's face it: Paul Pogba has had an up-and-down season at Manchester United.

The 26-year-old Red Devils midfielder experienced a complete breakdown in relationship with José Mourinho before he received the sack in December, but with the arrival of Ole Gunnar Solskjær at the club, Pogba's form started to turn around.

Okay, Pogba might have received the nod in the PFA Team of the Year, but his future at Old Trafford remains uncertain and he has been linked with a move to Real Madrid in the summer.

However, there is another damning statistic that has emerged around the World Cup-winning Frenchman.

Sky Sports used data collected from Opta to highlight the former Juventus star's running stats for the season.

One area that does stand out is how much walking Pogba has averaged this season, with his 64 per cent making him the highest out of any midfielder in the Premier League.

To put that into perspective, there are 78 other midfielders in England's top-tier domestic league!

Posted below is the rest of Pogba's running stats.

While the France international has been linked with Los Blancos, the United head coach believes that Pogba will be at the club next season.

"I think he will be here next season," he said (via BBC Sport).

"Paul has done fantastic for us. We want him to do well. He is a leader in the dressing room.

"If I could guarantee, I would say yes. You can't guarantee, but I think he will be."

United's race for the top four will resume on Sunday when they host Chelsea at Old Trafford. Solskjær's side are sixth in the Premier League and are three points behind fourth-placed Chelsea.

Will Pogba be at United next season?
