In what must be one of the greatest displays of support in recent memory, a handful of Luch Vladivostok supporters went above and beyond your typical away day trip so they could see their team in action against Luch Vladivostok .
On 14 November during the international break, around six fans travelled over 7000 km (a journey that would takes roughly 13 hours) on a plane and the journey was made that much more enjoyable by the fact they won 2-0 in the Russian second tier game.
In April, Baltika Kaliningrad made the long, arduous reverse trip to play Luch Vladivostok and it predictably finished 0-0.
Because of the sheer size of Russia, these type of away days are hardly a rarity.

In 2016, Spartak Moscow were pitted against first division side SKA-Khabarovsk in the Russian Cup but any supporters wishing to attend the fixture had to trek to the other side of country to do so.
It's a 5,000 mile journey which would take you over 100 hours to drive, or an 8 hour flight. There's also a seven hour time difference. Utter madness.
And to make matters worse, the trip was a complete nightmare as Spartak were beaten 1-0 by the team a league below them.
