Sir Alex Ferguson Really Isn't A Fan Of Mino Raiola

Sir Alex Ferguson Really Isn't A Fan Of Mino Raiola

Can you blame him?

With super-agent Mino Raiola in the news again after Pep Guardiola claimed he offered him Paul Pogba and Henrikh Mkhitaryan, we thought we'd bring up some of the things Sir Alex Ferguson has said about the Dutchman.

It would be fair to see the legendary Scot does not think highly of Raiola. In his autobiography he wrote: "There are one or two football agents I simply do not like and Mino Raiola is one of them".

That was one of the the kinder things Fergie had to say about the 49-year old, who he attributes the blame to for Pogba's departure from United when he was in charge.

When rugby star Brian Mujati asked him a question during a talk back in July, he called Raiola a "shit bag".

"Paul Pogba was well known to us. We knew he was a good player. He's still a good player. We offered him the best contract," he added.

But the biggest insult of all came when Fergie, Raiola and Pogba were discussing a new contract for the Frenchman.

As per Raiola in Financial Times, this is how the conversation played out:

Ferguson asked: "You don't want to sign this contract?"

Pogba said: "We're not going to sign this contract under these conditions."

Sir Alex then allegedly turned to Raiola and said: "You're a t***."

Raiola then said the contract offer was not fit for his pet chihuahuas, never mind Pogba.

Ferguson asked: "What do you think he needs to earn?"

Raiola replied: "Not that,"

Ferguson again snapped: "You're a t***."

So there you have it, Fergie doesn't have the time of day for Raiola. It seems like Pep Guardiola also shares the same stance as the Manchester United legend, though he did congratulate his client Pogba after the Manchester derby.

Plenty of people thought their conversation was in relation to the transfer revelation Pep made in his press conference, but the City boss says it wasn't the case.
