It wasn't even a proper game but you wouldn't have known judging by the way his mother celebrated.

The Hips Don't Lie singer threw her arms aloft and ran down the touchline in scenes reminiscent to Jose Mourinho's infamous charge at Old Trafford when his Porto side won their in 2004.

Shakira gets very animated when watching football, memorably going apeshit in the stands during El Clasico back in 2011.

Her reactions are absolutely priceless, with all sorts of facial expressions and hand movement going on as well as her nearly tearing her hair out.

Shakira and Pique met in 2010 and the former Manchester United revealed his first interaction featured a very stupid but predictable question.

Speaking to Spanish TV station TV3, via Goal, Pique explained:

"I met Shakira in Madrid, when we were preparing for the 2010 World Cup, and after appearing in the Waka Waka video.

"It all started when we were together in South Africa and I wrote to her. She was already there because she sang in the opening ceremony and I asked her what the weather was like.

"It is the typical stupid question, and the normal answer is to tell me to bring a jacket."

"But she started telling me what the weather was like in every single moment and it got to the point where I told her we would have to get to the World Cup final to see her again - she was singing at the final. Once we got to that stage, we might as well win it. We got there and we won."
