Serie A Side Pescara's Christmas Dinner Did Not Go To Plan At All

Serie A Side Pescara's Christmas Dinner Did Not Go To Plan At All

You won't find a more eventful Christmas dinner this year...

No matter if your Turkey is a bit cold and your gravy isn't thick enough when December 25th rolls around, there's no way you or me are having a worse Christmas dinner than Serie A side Pescara.

The Dolphins are currently second from bottom in Serie A, having won just one game domestically this season.

Pescara supporters have not seen their team win since August, when they beat Sassuolo 3-0 because of their opponents fielding an ineligible player.

And they definite let their frustrations be known when the club held their Christmas dinner.

According to Football Italia, ultras turned up at the venue and insulted players, attacked players' cars and even threw fireworks and smoke bombs in what is not your typical Christmas dinner routine.

Raging fans are also said to have chanted at manager Massimo Oddo and asked him to boycott the dinner because they believe "there is nothing to celebrate with this team".

Police are said to have been called in order to defuse the situation.

Not the ideal way for the players to spend their Christmas do with work, is it?
