Manchester United have taken a trip down memory lane to mark their 1000th Premier League game, by allowing fans to vote for the clubs best goal, game, save and player.

There's plenty of goals to pick from.

Like Robin van Persie's stunning volley against Aston Villa, and Cristiano Ronaldo's insane free-kick versus Portsmouth.

But the United faithfuls have hailed Wayne Rooney's acrobatic effort against their cross-town rivals, Manchester City, as their best goal in the Premier League.

Best game. Again, United aren't short of options.

Though the dramatic fixture against City where Michael Owen bagged a last-gasp winner gets the nod as the best game in the Premier League.

The United faithfuls have seen a few unreal keepers don the No.1 jersey; Peter Schmeichel and Fabian Barthez (I kid).

However, their current stopper David De Gea features in United's greatest Premier League save.

His clawing save, preventing now-teammate Juan Mata from scoring a sublime free-kick.

And, finally, best Premier League player.

United's dominance in the Premier League over the years has been aided by having some of the very best players in the world among their ranks.

We're talking Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs, Eric Cantona, to name but a few.

Well, United fans have voted. Enter; Ronaldo.

The Portuguese superstar excelled at Old Trafford, raising the Premier League trophy an impressive three times, while forging an incredible United legacy who remains a club hero.
