Ronaldo Has Won More Games Than Any Other Player In Champions League History

The Real Madrid legend is the holder of another Champions League record.

Serial record breaker Cristiano Ronaldo has done exactly that.

Broke ANOTHER record.

This time in the Champions League following Real Madrid recording a 2-1 victory against Bayern Munich in the semi-final first-leg on Wednesday.

Ronaldo, though, failed to get on the score-sheet. But thanks to Marcelo and Marco Asensio, the defending European champions go into the return fixture with a nice advantage courtesy of two away goals in the bag.

The win at the Allianz Arena now means Ronaldo has achieved 96 (!!) victories in the Champions League, more than any other player in history.

Surpassing former teammate Iker Casillas (95).

The four-time Champions League winner leads an impressive list which includes fellow Real Madrid icon Raul (79), not to mention Barcelona greats Xavi (91) and Andres Iniesta (71).

Real Madrid are favourites to make it THREE European titles in a row following victory on German soil.

And Ronaldo will be eager to score his 16th goal in the campaign.

But is he in danger of losing out in the Champions League Golden Boot Race with Liverpool duo 'Bobby' Firmino, and Mohamed Salah both on 10 goals?

Meanwhile, the 33-year-old has another record in his cross-hairs, too.

He's just 16 games away from making the most appearances in the Champions League.

He's currently tied with Xavi on 151 with Casillas topping the star-studded chart. He's got an impressive 167 appearances to his name.

Ronaldo still has one, potentially two, games left this season.
