A class act...

Romelu Lukaku showed his class after Manchester United knocked PSG out of the Champions League in stunning fashion.

In the dying embers, referee Damir Skomina referred to VAR and deemed Diogo Dalot's strike to have been deliberately handled by Presnel Kimpembe in what was a seriously contentious call.

The pressure was on the bold shoulders of Marcus Rashford but he made no mistake, wallopping the ball into the top bins and sparking some serious limbs in that United away end.

United players raced over to the away end when the final whistle was blown after nine minutes of stoppage time, but Lukaku did not join them straight away.

Instead the Belgian, who has six goals in his last three games, took time out to console Kimpembe in what was a thoroughly brilliant act of sportsmanship.

United's No.9 was seen giving the Frenchman words of encouragement after his last-gasp handball ultimately cost his side.

Lukaku, along with Paul Pogba, would then brilliantly shut down rumours of a bust-up by gesturing on the pitch after the enthralling game.
